Coz, re-read the following guide to help you in your trolling
endeavors:

1) Originality. This game has been around since the BBS days. Chances
are, if you think of a schoolyard insult (which seems to be your only
method) then it has been used already. When attempting the passe on
somebody who has been around this stuff for nearly 15 years now(yes, I
speak of myself) the only response you'll get back is the carrot and the
stick.

2) A gimmick. This doesn't mean being a complete retard like Robby and
Incubus but it does mean you approach things from a certain perspective
in order to get responses like a trijcomm. It keeps people coming back
to you to see how else you apply that perspective (#3) to things. It
also allows you to make a name for yourself rather than being one of the
crowd.

3) Perspective. To actually get positive troll action you need to
approach things from a different angle than most. Whether it be a
libertarian angle such as froggy or a conspiracy angle such as
gooserider, it adds enough of a twist to the discussion to knock the
other poster back a tad.

4) Memes. A good meme will always be effective. I am not doing your
homework for you. If you lurk a few high traffic discussion spots for a
while, you'll find some. Then there are also poor memes such as Nazis
and yeahbutclinton... These have countermemes (Godwin's Law and Stefan's
Law respectively). Do not use a meme that has a countermeme. Also,
"Wrestling is gay" is not effective in RSPW. It's been done since the
group's inception.

5) Lurk and learn. This probably should be #1 but eff it. To troll or
feud effectively, you have to actually know or understand who or what it
is you are trying to get a reaction from. This is why "wrestling is gay"
does not work in rspw. We've all seen it a million times. It's why
calling froggy a conservatard doesn't work since he's a Libertarian. In
short, if you are obviously coming from a position of ignorance then
your work is one big fail.

6) Know when you lost. You fail at this one often. By being unable to
keep the discussion straight and being called out on it you still
refuse, that is an admission of defeat. Thus, no more discussion is
needed. Nobody is willing to engage with somebody who will not play the
game. It amounts to forfeit. Or, in RSPW, a tap out (although a countout
is more accurate). Just saying you won does not mean you won. Just
because somebody who does not like the other poster says you won, it
does not mean you won.
