No. there are plenty of people into physics, science etc. who are also
believers in a religion.

The main reason the US gets scientists from all over is because US
positions pay well and offer huge opportunities with things no where
else in the world. (NASA, etc.)

The US turns down more scientists too, if not for that we'd have even
more trying to come here. Seriously, if an Indian physicist can live
in US making 6-7 figures or in India, many will come to the US.
