I've pasted below proof that "Bitchslapping" does indeed happen in a
newsgroup. In fact a great example of "Bitchslapping" occurred today in this
very newsgroup.

I went back and read that thread just now. You really overrate your
abilities. I noticed that it was pretty much a one-sided argument with you
whining the whole time, and he stopped participating in it the moment
where you turned it into a straw man attack.

One sided argument my ass. I was throwing legit questions at him and
not trolling him nor baiting him. If he felt so strongly about his
arguments re: "has-beens" maybe he (not I) shouldn't have come up with
type of answer that a blind man can shoot down.

You're easily the worst poster here now, and based on your tendency to
post in every single thread that comes along, you're trying real hard to
add "of all time" to that honor. Trust me -- it's no coincidence that this
newsgroup really started falling apart the moment that you showed up and
started posting heavily. There's a reason that Stefan, Butters, ViNNY, and
a handful of others have disappeared completely, and why a ton of others,
myself included, have lost interest in this place almost entirely. The
whole "Chameleon Project" crap from a few months ago really sealed it, but
the fact of the matter was that it was the influx of horrible posters like
you and Jason Todd and Patient Zero appearing in 75% of all threads posted
here that paved the way for them.

To quote a phrase: Want more cheese with that whine? Seriously, the
main legit reason why this ng has gone to *** is the state of wrestling
at this point in time. I wouldn't be surprised if I went back to the
archives and pretty saw the same thing 10 or 15 years ago that I'm
seeing now. I would probably would've seen the same posts spelling the
death knell for both wrestling AND RSPW.

It fucking happens with anything we follow. You're going to have those
down cycles were seemingly *** happens and there's no end in sight.
People lose interest and start going away. People start making OT posts
about everything else except the topic. Eventually you get disenchanted
and see the end of something happening right before your very eyes.
Then either one of two things happen: An upturn caused by an event
which shakes up everything or indeed, the slow and painful demise.

So maybe, JUST maybe this is a little downturn or maybe, JUST maybe it's
the end of RSPW as we know it. I'm being an eternal optimist and hoping
that this is just a downturn in the business. Something major happens
and pretty soon you'll see posters new and HoFer/established come back
and start or continue posting again.

And no, I'm not just scapegoating you here -- I've had private
conversations with some of those posters, and they've basically said the
same thing. And guess what? Yours is the name they brought up the most
often as the reason the newsgroup was dying.

I <3 posters like you that (behind the scenes) bitch and moan about how
X is killing the ng, how Y is making the ng impossible to read, how Z
should never post in the ng again (THAT old time-honored phrase). Yet
do you (and those posters you claim to have private conversations with)
do anything to return the ng to relevance?

See that's the real problem here: People who talk a lot of *** about
how other people are fucking up something; but yet when you ask them to
do something about it they do ZILCH. They just sit there hoping for the
Red Sea to part so they can come back and enjoy themselves. They do
nothing pro-active in order for the ng to remain a place where people
can talk...wrestling. They're hoping someone ELSE does what you're only
dreaming of.

All you do is bitch and moan, all you do is complain, all you do is put
the blame on OTHER posters. Yet, do you do anything to say "*** THIS!
I'm bringing back the ng to what it should be?" No.

Bottom line, talk is cheap. At least I *did* something to make the ng
worth looking at. I floated the idea of an RSPW Alumni Week or Month.
I wanted to see all of the old posters back and talk about what they
loved: wrestling. I wanted to see people that gave a *** about the ng
come back and save it.

So while your arrogant, elitist, lurking ass had "private conservative
with some of those posters," to bitch about me. I went ahead and posted
YT clips of Joshi and other classic moments in wrestling. I tried my
best to say things about what was happening or not happening in the
business.

I actually wanted to be a part of the ng (CP be damned, trollers be
damned) and at least not see the damn thing sink quicker than the Titanic.

Have I been a fuckup in this ng? Yeah. I should be more on-topic about
things. I should ignore the hell out of the likes of Mottola and
Perkoff when they make their inane postings. I should do more than
just descend to dumb-ass flamewars with Mottola. I won't deny that.
Hell I wish I could do something that makes this ng worth reading and
enjoying.

But at least I try to do something the best I can. Something in the
past few months you can't say.

So yeah, you're the worst poster here, and gunning for worst ever. You
killed RSPW, rwa2play. Now be a good citizen and do what at least a half
dozen others here have politely asked you to do: Please. Stop. Posting.
Forever.

Yawn and Meh. That's how I respond to your "request." Instead of
putting the blame why don't you and those other posters start posting again.

It's funny really; you're sounding like Bret Hart when he started to see
