She has the level of credibility that he viewing audience assigns to
her. There are a lot of kooks in our fine country, brah, and they're
on both sides of the aisles. Obviously Coulter jokes like she looks,
but she *was* joking. I mean, obviously. She's a mean-ass bitch and
that's what makes her Ann Coulter, it's the controversial persona
she's cultivated for herself. I *still* don't watch Fox News but I am
sooo sure they have a lot of fun letting her have her say. When I've
seen Coulter on TV, she's usually getting drawn and quartered by
whoever's talking to her. I have faith in the general population, I
think she gets so much attention because she cuts a good promo, not
because many consider her a legit analyst. I doubt she gives more than
a *** either way, she just wants attention that will put money in her
pocket. To get back on topic, I think the media has a bias toward the
left. I don't think that they're disproving that when they're shooting
holes in Coulter's arguments. It's not an overwhelming bias. Maybe
more of a "tint".

I agree with about half of this. Sure, people viewing can decide on
her credibility, but it's amazing that main stream media outlets give
her the platforms that they do. While there are kooks on the left and
right, there is no left-wing equivalent to the hate-filled, bat-***
loony lying quasi-fascist stuff that Coulter peddles that gets put on
all the major networks to sell books and ofter analysis. And no,
Pelosi, Michael Moore, etc., aren't close (for example, neither has
"joked" recently about murdering Justice Stevens and Jack Murtha).
Maybe she's doing a schtick to get money (although she seems like she
wants to be taken seriously, except when she's forced to say "it was
just a joke"); if so, that still seems a shameful way to make a buck.
It's also possible that she is legit insane, or a true fascist.

But the fact that the media keeps treating her like she's someone to
take seriously is the real shame here, and it is indeed another piece
of evidence that the media isn't really "liberal." Coulter is at best
a bitchy troll, and as all us internet folks know, the real suckers are
those who respond to trolls. Hence, the media are at best suckers.
