I preordered my N64 and my Cube, and wasn't disappointed with either.

I didn't get an N64 till a lot later (I was like 16 or something and that
was a lot of money back then)... didn't get a Cube till later either (started
with the PS2, and university kept me too busy to do much gaming).

This time though, I'm definitely looking to get one at (or close to) launch.
