A news report at about 2pm said that Schumer and the NY/NJ area
politicians STILL don't trust them.....
This whole thing has just been very confusing and scary: confusing
because, even though reading the details and facts explains that this
wasn't something to be afraid of, the politicians were TOTALLY against
this; and scary because of the xenophobic stench this entire thing has
generated towards a Middle Eastern ally.
Oh, BTW - the NYTimes apparently has discovered that the NY and NJ Port
Authorities haven't been properly screening truck drivers - and as a
result felons have been getting access to the ports. I doubt there will
be any hubbub over that, though.........insignificant speck of concern
compared to DP World's hideous terrorist threat against America.
