[Alito] The root of the whole abortion matter.

Why do conservatives hate women?
If being against abortion was TRULY a cry for the innocent fetus victims to
be saved, I would understand and sympathize with their position. But let's
be honest, cons and neo-cons: this is all about keeping women from getting
too much power, especially over their own bodies.
If conservatives were serious about eliminating abortion, they'd be on the
front lines promoting contraception methods like condoms, the Birth Control
Pill, and the Morning After Pill. I mean, come on... human beings are going
to have sex. Period. But too many fundie wackjobs out there want to impose
their morality on the masses, so any woman that has sex that results in an
unwanted child, well.. SHE'S A ***, AND SHOULD BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES! The
man, of course, gets a free ride. After all, he's just a man, right? The
woman should keep her legs shut if she doesn't want kids, END... OF...
STORY.
This isn't about the kid. It never has been. If it was, churches and the
conservatives would be pushing for subsidized medical care for children,
subsidized day care so that one or both parents can work to support their
families adequately, and making education spending a top priority in this
country. Of course, that's not the case. Their attitude is: your mom fucked
up, so make it yourself, or die.... or commit crimes and become a burden to
society, in which case we'll lock you up and forget about you. Oh, yeah and,
Jesus Christ is your savior.
The hypocrisy is staggering. Which is why I really fear for this country
with a majority of conservative judges on the Supreme Court bench. They will
be much more sympathetic to curtailing rights, rather than granting them.
Which leads this country in the wrong direction.
