I got a DVR a few months ago and it's pretty much the only reason I
still "watch" Smackdown...

Yeah, but should I still continue to watch just because I've been
conditioned to watch wrestling for all the years it was actually
entertaining???

> I am speaking of TNA as well, I watch some of it but skip alot of it.

I actually liked TNA a lot when it debuted on Spike but I've been
losing interest in it recently even tho Monty Brown, Samoa Joe, and
Christian have been really entertaining recently... Those three are
probably my favorite wrestlers to watch right now... Still on a whole,
TNA is average at best...

> Right now is just a boring time for wrestling

If you think about it, it's been average to bad for a while now... I
mean WWE really hasn't been great since like 2000... It's been all
downhill since... I really really REALLY miss the days when WCW and ECW
was around...

Yeah, the RR is my favorite PPV of the year and things usually get
better during this time but it wont last... Also, this year's WM will
probably be one of the worst in recent memory... What big matches are
left for the WWE to put on??? Austin/Hogan??? This match is a couple
years too late... Cena/HHH??? Cena is boring as hell and HHH is a close
2nd... What else is there??? Batista/Orton could've been big if the WWE
didn't completely screw up Orton's career with that shitty World Title
reign and his feud with Taker (one of the worst in recent memory)... WM
will be decent at best (and you know the WWE wont even try their best
so it won't even be decent)... Hopefully they will let Angle/HBK be the
main event for the title as those two guys are the best the fed has to
offer BY FAR...

I agree somewhat but JERICHO and Christian will never get great pushes
in the WWE... It just wont happen... I would much rather have them be
in a fed (any fed) that will just let them cut loose and do what the
hell they wanted and not be toned down in fear that it will show up the
other lesser talented ones that can't work a match or cut a decent
promo to save their life...

TNA will never be WCW tho... Never... Unless some huge entity takes
over with a lot of money which I guess could happen but as it stands
now TNA will never be that big...

Yeah I guess... I probably won't stop watching in fear that I might
miss the next "great era"... The last time I completely stopped
watching wrestling was in 95 and I didn't start watching again until
late 97... I completely missed the whole nWo beginning and I STILL
haven't gotten over that... So I will still continue to watch and yeah
having a DVR makes it easier to but it still aint the same... I
shouldn't continue to watch JUST for the SAKE of watching... It should
be ENTERTAINING to watch and except for a select few (HBK, Angle, Monty
Brown, Samoa Joe, Boogeyman) it just hasn't been entertaining for the
most part with no turnaround in sight...
