Re: (OT) Cindy Sheehan kooks out...

Back when I was a boy in Outer Mongolia, I think it was 14 Aug 2005,
TripleW864 walked up to me and rythmically grabbed my ass, making me
squeel the following

True, our position of "support... oops, bullets are flying, time to go"
in Afganistan in the early 80's started it. Or, at least, strongly
influenced Osama Bin Laden. Course, that doesn't matter because he is
SO last year. Now we have a better, more nebulous "evil terrorists" to
fight, and no actual target. That means we can have a war FOREVER!
YAY!

Err, her son was over there based on the concept that Iraq posed a
threat to the US. The whole "humanitarian mission" line of reasoning
didn't come about untill much later.

Also, I cringe when "liberal" and "conservitive" are bandied about as
easy labels. They are generalizations which are just bad. As a
liberal, I have to accept a crackpot like Joe Leiberman into my camp?
HELL NO! You guys can have him. Please. I'll give ya like $50 to keep
him. As a tradeoff, we'll let you pretend Strom Thurmond never
happened.

Why do you hate the troops and their mothers?

Repeat, why do you hate the mothers of American troops? You seem to
hate America a lot in this post... did Freedom continue it's killing
spree arter it ran over my dog and do in yours too?

Yes, because "conflicting opinions" means kookery. As opposed to "just
conforming" which, apparently, means freedom.

Again, why do you hate the free expression of ideas so much? You want
to ARREST a woman because you don't agree with her nonviolent protest,
wishing to bend the laws of the United States in order to restrict
speach? Iran would love ya, buddy. The only reason Bush would ever
invade Iran would be out of pure envy.

GC
Would like to know who, exactly, Cindy Sheehan is hurting here.
Honestly, other than making Bush look like an uncaring chickenhawk who
wants to have his wars without having to deal with the unavoidable
consequences of war, what harm is she causing?

Well... other than the inexcusable wear and tear on the vocal chords of
political pundits. Rush and Frankin have both had MONTHS taken off
their careers by this, just to do throat abuse.
