Re: Ion

Ah, bit of a haul to try out a marker, I admit.
Well, if you're ever in Jersey you let me know ;)
Come out around July 4th, there's usually a big game to celebrate
independance...erm...'Good Riddance Day' as you all know it ;)

I still say go with a cocker...plenty of ROF for any situation, once
you get the hang of it. Despite what some of the electro-freaks
preach, you really dont need to be able to shoot 20 balls per second, I
don't care WHAT level you are playing on. I've played on all levs up
to amature, and I've found that I play best with my good ol' mechanical
cocker...and that includes playing against people toting angels,
shockers etc. It's all about what you're comfortable with.
Where do you guys live? Anywhere on the east coast? I'd be happy to
let y'all play a few rounds with my gun if you want to check it out.
Not alot of people will admit to this, but I can shoot it much more
quickly then I can most electros...it's just the way my fingers works,
and the attitude I have when I play. I fire fast enough to take
someone on the breakout...after that, 3 accurate balls per second will
keep someone down just as effectively as 20 sprayed shots per
second...AND you'll go through less paint AND you might actually get
some skills (no offense to the spray and prayers out there).

I like to play a bit of both but mostly speedball, I'm 12 but I can deal
with the weight, I can pick up the technical side of stuff pretty easy so
that isn't an issue and what I don't know I copy off people that do...

Are you planning on Scenario (wooded/Forest) or Speedball (pokemon
bunkers like X-Ball, Pipes)?

How big are you and does weight matter much?

How competent (technical) are you?

For example I play all types (no tournaments) and I am a big guy so
weight does not matter as when I move everything else will move. I
can still sprint faster than most others my size so some speed has to
be there.

I love my A-5 that I have modded somewhat. It will blaze with the
best but still turn around and take any abuse or neglect I want to
give it and it will still be there for me. Does not take special air
and will run off of both HPA and CO2 right out of the box with no
problems.

Others prefer Toy guns (plastic looking things from scifi shows). So
give us a little more info if you would.
