George, the guy who derived these formulas for speed of a piston,
probably didn't get paid a cent, MPV is important, linear KE of a
piston is derived from it, if you take the derivative of linear KE =
1/2mv^2, you get linear momentum L = mv, Force is connected to this, F
= ma, F is the integral of L if mass is constant. One be jigsaw puzzle.
I rant allot, but this is fun. Then you can get into angular velocity,
torque, angular acceleration, moment of inertia, fun fun fun. equating
linear forces to angular forces is a major factor in ICE's
