Medicare will be bankrupt in 2024 if nothing is done.
Isn't that what the far right wants anyway?
The right wants to prevent Medicare going belly up and possibly taking
the
country along with it. If the right had their way, Medicare probably
wouldn't have been implemented originally but now we are stuck with it,
it
isn't going anywhere. All we can really do now is reform it and make it
sustainable. As it is structured now, it is unsustainable. So we can
reform it or ignore it until it explodes. The left wants to bury their
heads in the sand and pretend there isn't a problem. The right are the
adults here and the left are the children.
Next, saying either side is adult, and the other children, is
childish in itself.
Pretending there isn't a looming catastrophe and kicking the can down the
road is as childish as it gets.
Adults confront and deal with problems even
if it is unpopular.
True.
Saying either side is adult, and the other children, is still
childish in itself.
I stand behind my analysis.
