Palin *actually* touted the proximity of Alaska to Russia as relevant
foreign policy experience.

And she was correct. Alaska does trade with Russia, Canada, and
Japan. Did you know that Alaska is the closest state to Japan? It's
closer than Hawaii. And Alaska sends lots of oil to Japan. Drill baby
drill. China is going to need lots of oil too, and we could sell them
oil from Alaska.

And if she'd have mentioned that as relevant foreign policy experience,
she would have had a legitimate (albeit small) point.

But she didn't. She mentioned the physical proximity.

FYI: Texas trades with Russia, Canada and Japan, too. In fact, I would
expect pretty much every state does.

Don't forget that Nobama said that he's been to all 57 states.

Yes. That is what is referred to as a "slip of the tongue".

Sure it was. Is that what he's going to say everytime he doesn't have
a teleprompter in front of him?

I don't care.
