Coincidentally I just had the exact same procedure about three weeks
ago. Hurt like h*ll for the first 2-4 days but then gradually got
better. Believe me you won't be thinking about golf - or anything
else except laying around - for a few days. I couldn't even drive
for about 5 days. It's been almost three weeks now and I could
probably swing a club but my surgeon says wait two more weeks - this
is one surgery that can easily be "undone" by coming back too fast.
