You're kidding right?

Corporate welfare, check.
Unwinnable wars, check.
Huge deficit, check.

A friend of mine's father, who was a good businessman for most of his
life, got some symptoms of dementia. He started taking out loans on
his real estate investments and forget who he gave it to. A few years
later he died.

Their family farm was free and clear of any of those loans, but the
rest of his estate is mortgaged to the max. She wants to keep the
family farm, but needs to clear everything else, otherwise it will get
taken along with everything else.

She inherited that problem. Does that make her a deficit spender?

Obama inherited some big messes. The Iraq War for instance. He can't
just pull out, at least not responsibly. Like it or not, our country
is responsible for that mess. There's a moral obligation to leave Iraq
with some semblance of a stable government.

If we did just pull everyone out, that'd be it for our international
reputation. It'd have major consequences. No other country would
cooperate seriously with such an unreliable power.

BTW, I, like Obama, was against the war in 2003.
