Well, for a nominee to stand down on ethical grounds, yes, it would

been a record for the Bush Administration. No one there cared a whit
about what ethical contortions you got yourself into.
But, Billy it was two of Obama's nominees. First it was Nancy Killefer
the Performance Czar, whatever that is, and the it was Senator Daschle
the nominee for HHS. Do we need to bring up Gov. Richardson who took

for the team due to "ethical" lapses in granting state contracts?

Geithner has a very heavy and dark cloud over his head. Do you believe
that Geithner has the ethical and moral authority to run the Treasury
Department now? Any man with any sense of duty and honor would would
tell Obama to find his replacement.

Do we want to talk about Obama's policy on lobbyists in his
administration. It's like a child's game. Doors closed, doors open,
doors closed.

The first 100 days in office are what memories are made of and Obama
is
making some really great memories, for the opposition.

And so he carefully avoids the comparison between a President who
actually stands up and admits a mistake, and his predecessor who never
admitted a single error for eight years. These are resignations on
ethical grounds, again uncharted territory for the GoP. Have you ever
been $900 adrift on your taxes?


Obama has made so many mistakes in his first two weeks I don't have
enough fingers and toes to count them all. Part of Obama's problem is
that he didn't spend enough time actually legislating in Illinois or the
US Senate to find out how government really works. Being a community
organizer hasn't served Obama well and as it turns out it isn't serving
the country well.

Resignations on ethical grounds? Killefer had a tax lien placed on her
property. That is a legal decision no an ethical decision. Daschle
didn't want to pay his taxes until the very last minute and if for some
reason he wasn't confirmed he wouldn't have payed them. I'll bet he
called the bank and canceled the check.

No I have never been "adrift" $900 on my taxes. My CPA is extremely
competent and makes sure that I don't go "adrift."

More of the usual drivel. The fact is these nominees were removed for
ethical reasons, as they should be. You see, I have an absolute standard
to apply, you on the other hand, just have your neocon tinted glasses.

Those aren't the facts according to the Obama administration. Is someone
lying, besides you?
