I am more concerned
about the allegations of improperly using her position for personal

The trooper incident is something that has been reported by credible
media sources. However, John's post was full of unsubstantiated claims.
At any rate there are a couple of months until the election. The facts
should be well established by then.
Don't count on it.
It's possible they'll get away with it. Rove is doing everything he can
to limit press access to Palin. It wouldn't be the first time he got an
obviously unqualified person elected to high office.
What I'm think though is that in light of Bush's pathetic approval
rating, a majority of voters (at least this time) is leery about electing
someone else who clearly isn't up to the job.
By the way, the smears against Obama and his many accomplishments, which
you keep mindlessly repeating, are intended to combat exactly this
perception.
