I just finished my 40th round of 2008 yesterday.   I thought it was time to
look at the stats and see where I suck the most.    Most of these rounds are
at Twin Bridges Golf Course in Gadsden, Alabama.   Driving 54% with driver,
76% with 3 wood,  course has a lot of water hazards and thick underbrush on
the holes.   Average for driver is 242 and for 3 wood is 212.   Par 5s hit
in 2 very low at 7%.  Greens hit in regulation 48%,  up and down is 39%.
Three putt holes 16%  or 3 per round.  Birdies at a lousy 3.7%.   Average
score from the blue tees (6263 yards) is 83.6     Maybe it is time to put
the clubs out on the curb and just play tennis 7 days a week instead of 3.

Agreed with the others that these numbers aren't that bad.

Do you have any stats as to the average and range of distance for your
approach shots on Par 4's? I see your Iron play as an area where you
could greatly improve your GIR's - especially if Par 4 lengths allow
you to use your 3-wood!

And, what the heck is wrong with shooting low-to-mid-80's on a regular
basis?!?!?
