I'm working on keeping a rigid front, that is not bending/dipping my
left leg. That and I'm still a little haunched over.

Late. You spin out because you have weight on your back foot at
impact. Your transition weight shift is weak. You should work to
unweight your back foot as early in the downswing as possible. Watch
good golfers. ALL pros are almost completely on their front foot at
impact. That is the primary difference between elite level golfers
and the other 99% of us.

Hogan demonstrates the transition move. This is the most important
move in the golf swing-- and also the most difficult to learn. TPI
(Titleist) says that 99% of amateurs can't do it, hitting every ball
"late," with weight on their back foot. Notice Hogan's weight
shift--even in his static demonstration he has all his weight on his
left side when the club is only in the pre-impact position.

Even when you can make the move with no ball down, the next hurdle is
to do it when a ball is there! You will find it almost impossible
for a while unless you can "trick" your mind by focusing on swinging
over a target in front of the ball or by an intention to make a full
finish. Learning the transition move is easy for kids, and nearly
impossible for adults who ingrain a late swing. But it is worth the
effort-- it is the entrance fee to low handicap golf. There is no
other way to keep the clubhead inside the target line than to clear
the hips-- with that move.

This is my swing. Notice that momentum carries me to a full
finish--because my weight has moved early to my front leg "post." I
am 66 years old, have been playing golf only 6 years-- and enrolled in
TPI only 6 months ago. It has taken me these months of drills, leg
strengthening, stretching, etc. to become able to swing like that. I
am getting better at it every day.

Well, it looks better...

...and you actually swung at a ball, so that's an improvement.

Here is the SLAP "Swing Like A Pro" blurb on the Transition
Move--complete with the required drills:

You're always getting better, Larry.

It's amazing you can't play Tiger straight up by now...

I'm more interested in this, Larry:

Why is it you haven't posted any scores since July 26

but this "Larry Whitaker" (note the shared single "T" spelling) has
posted a more normal amount?
