You cited a Socialist web page and expect us to pay any
attention
at
all?

Brother!

Ken

I agree Ken. That's the same way I feel when Fox News,
Hannity,
Rush
or Coulter is quoted.

That's not exactly fair Bobby.

On Fox News, Hannity is offset by Alan Colmes, Krauthammer is
offset
by Mara Liasson, OReilly almost always has guests on both sides
of
any
issue. Probably won't hear both sides at CNN or with your local
Socialist.

Hannity, Rush and Coulter are all three very open about being
conservative. But, tune in to Keith Olbermann, Judy Woodruff or
Wolf
Blitzer and even though what they are selling is straight
liberal,
they never identify themselves as such.

I used to really enjoy Keith Olbermann when he did Sports Center
with
Dan Patrick. Now, I can't stand to watch him for five minutes.

Ken

Of course you can't - he doesn't toe the neocon line as you
require.
However, anyone who thinks that anything run by Rupert Murdoch and
his
henchman Roger Ailes is anything but far to the right is living in
a
fairyland. There is a sham facade of "balance" on Fox, but that is
all
it is - a sham posed in order to try to give its hard neocon stance
some
shred of credibility.

Oh. Like Ted Turner and CNN are the epitome of objectivity. Fox may
be
slightly conservative, but every other mainstream source of news is
bent way far to the left. For instance, do you recall what Dan Rather
attempted to do to the president during the last election? While he
was editorial director of CBS News? Or maybe Newsweek and that Koran
in the toilet thing?

You cite Dan Rather when you stand behind SwiftBoats? There's a nice
touch of hypocrisy for you. You must be salivating for the next Rove
attack dog lies.

You lefties just can't stand it because it is not 100% of the news
sources pitching the straight liberal line any more. It would be
different if it was liberals with integrity (Cronkite, Brinkley). But
no, there is no integrity at all in the modern newsroom.

No, we can't stand it because you and your ilk simply listen, learn,
and regurgitate the Fox party line unfiltered. Nothing impinges on your
simplistic preconceived view of the world - right is right, anything
else is wrong. Many of the rest of us a) don't use TV as the primary
(or
only) source of news, and b) try to give issues some consideration
untainted by whoever you think these demons are. Yours is a total
intellectual cop out, and that is what really irritates.

You sure make a lot of assumptions about me. Cite the posts where I am
a big fan of the Swift Boat guys. My problems with Kerry started when
he left Viet Nam. The outrageous rumor-mongering testimony to the
Senate. The seditious activities with the Viet Nam Veterans Against
the War. The outright illegal meetings with the North Vietnamese in
Paris while Dr Kissinger was trying to negotiate with them. All of
which while he was still an officer in the Navy. Also, where do you
get that I get all my news straight from the TV?

You think you know me, You don't know me at all.

I notice that you just flat ignored those stories about the cheering
and booing of hard news in the newsrooms of the Seattle Times and
MSNBC. Bias? What bias?

Have a nice day, Comrade.

Ken

You just have to resort to the childish name calling again, don't you?
And you have the temerity to whine that other people "make a lot of
assumptions" about you.

Hypocrite.

Nice dodge. Loser. Tenure is a wonderful thing, is it not?

Ken

You really think that anyone, save the dedicated neocon, gives any
credibility to that old Scarborough 2003 story? It has had so many holes
poked in it over the years that it looks like Swiss cheese. If that is
the best you can come up with (other than babyish name calling), then
you are struggling even more than I thought.
