Thanks for the link, Howard. That's a good video.
I played again today by myself so I could really experiment, and
hitting 2 balls on most shots, I noted a terrific improvement on the
shots where I pulled my backswing "inside." If you think of a golfer
standing on a clock, his feet at 9, his aim at 12, and straight back
being 6, I was pulling the club back on a line at around 7. So not
straight back as I've often read, to encourage a full shoulder turn,
but a little more of a "corkscrew." And I hate these terms because it
really isn't as dramatic as that. It's just inches. But it's definitely
helping my driver, and I notice improvement in the irons as well, more
length, more solid. I've been "off plane" all this time, perhaps?
