I'm in the "hands just hang on" camp...

Well.....the hands do a little more than just hang on. They are the
command post for the club. The club will only do what the hands tell
it to so you can think of the hands as being the brains of the club.

Lets say you want to draw the ball a little more. You roll your hands
a little more through impact. The clubface will close a little more
in compliance. How about if you want to fade it? Just reverse roll
your hands a little. So will the clubface. You want to swing
outside-in as when hitting a lob shot you swing your hand outside-in.
What ever you want the clubface and clubhead to do you do with your
hands, they have no other option but to comply.

I don't think many RSGer will ever achieve a high degree of educated
hands???
I think most of us will get great inconsistency from trying to shape
the shots with our hands?
I'm not even sure we should try to shape the shot other than whatever
we develop as our natural shape? I don't think this is the only way or
even the best way to shape shots anyway... at least not for golfers
that don't had several hours a day to practice??? I still think that at
least for us quiet hands that just hold (hang) on to the club are the
best technique? Of course I could be wrong. It's happened before. :)
Hands are small muscles and can be twitchy.
