Have him take a look at GstatPro. I have been using it for a long time
and it does some pretty geeky things. It is set up to take any depth
of input, from raw scores all the way to charting each swing with club,
shot distance and result (short, long, pull, hook, etc.) to help find
tendencies and tell you how far you really hit your clubs. The author
is very responsive and helpful if there are any problems installing
updates, etc.
