It's weird. With my age (and maybe my drugs), my circulation is real
bad - I limp after getting out of bed or out of my desk chair. But
that's my muscles, not my tendons. Just walking is enough to get my
circulation flowing and then I can easily place my palms flat on the
ground with my knees straight. I have always been a very sound
sleeper too (even though I move a lot in my sleep) - but nowadays I
wake up enough to wake up whichever limb fell asleep. Age sucks.
My hurry-up warm-up routine occurs in days like today. I will leave
a bit early and try to get 9 holes at the twilight rate. I'll take
one token and use most of it with small swings. Since I'm not
playing for anything, I'll skip putting practice so I have time to
finish before it's dark.
When I'm playing for something, or if I'm playing at an unfamiliar
course, I don't skip testing the green.
