Any explanation why my forged Titleist forged blades from 20 years ago are
much less scratched and worn than my 1 year old forged 804OS Cavity backs?
Did they use better steel 20 years ago? Or was that a harder steel? Both
are forged... but the 20 year old blades seem so much more impervious to
damage.
