Which one do you prefer?

Blades. Is there a minimum swing speed in order to take the
advantage of blade irons?

No.

Get the right shaft for your swing and you can use about any head. I like blades for several reasons. Mine have no offset. I can work them. They're compact. I like the old school lofts (PW is 50 degrees). They're also forged (most blades are) and often feel softer than their stainless counterparts. At almost 20 years old, they're just as good as anything on the market today.

I do agree with others that a blade head does require a pretty consistent point of impact.
