The Big Break was fun to watch, but I just couldn't get myself to care
about the USA/UK edition. I didn't watch it enough to understand why
they had a couple episodes towards the end where the USAians got to sit
pretty while the Euros had to duke it out. Am I right that if it had
been unbiased completely, it's entirely possible that the last episode
would have been Euro vs. Euro because the entire American contingent
would have been eliminated? Or at least possibly eliminated.

The one thing that drove me up the wall was towards the very beginning,
when they showed the two teams separately getting acquainted and
getting ready for the show. They showed the Brits and they're
laughing, joshing around, generally enjoying life. Then they show the
USA team and they're all holding hands around the table praying. Among
the first thoughts was that if I'm going to have to watch a bunch of
"God is on my Side Don Donatello" jackasses again I'll just give this
whole show a big miss. That guy drove me absolutely up the wall. Even
more than the announcers, who desperately need to learn to STFU. "This
is a really tough shot and he's got to get this close to have a chance
to stay in the match." No *** babe. Now STFU and get off the camera.
I think the wife gets more entertainment out of me spewing obscenities
at the TV than from the show itself. LOL

Anyway, yeah, they've flogged the reruns into the ground. I'm ready
for the next one. At least they've got cute girls again.
