Nothing makes me madder than striping one down the middle of the
fairway only to be found lying in the middle of some grungy
half-crusted piece of earth that once-upon-a-time resembled an
acceptable hitting surface.

But, to do anything less than hit it where it lays (with the exception
of GUR) would not be in the spirit of the game (read: winter rules =
no posting for handicap purposes).
