The trade rules definitely need to be spelled out better than they were last year.

Proposal: Once both teams accept a trade and it goes to the league for approval, no recissions. You want to reverse it? Go through the whole process in reverse and let the league once again give the OK.

DRAFT: I suggested Tuesday, August 26 as a draft date. It seems okay
for the four of us who've already responded, but there are 8 more folks
we need to hear from. I don't freaking want to hear another season full
of complaining about how the autodraft screwed people over. Let's all
agree on one date. If someone doesn't show up for WHATEVER reason,
they're not allowed to complain about what the autodraft gives them
(didn't someone get 4 QBs? haha). If this date doesn't work out for
you, speak out. Right now, Mondays and Fridays are out.

The 26th is fine with me.

WAIVER CUTOFF: Creep lost his mind because people were picking up
players during the playoffs. Do we want to cut off the Waiver Wire at
the end of our regular season?

- Lock non-playoff teams roster at the end of the regular season.
- Lock all remaining playoff losers as they are defeated.
- Lock all WW/FA pickups at 1pm Sat/Sun (whichever has the first game) ... As for how to handle Thursdays, I'm open to ideas.
- I vaguely remember someone being able to drop reserves that already played their game last year? Bad bad juju.


WAIVER ORDER: Do we want it to reset every week according to record, or
do we want to have it where whoever is at the top stays there until
they claim someone, then move to the end of the list?

I'm for having the single season-long rotation.

ROSTER LIMITS: Last year, I set limits for how many players of one
position you can have. Some people flipped out that they can only have
6 RBs (or whatever I set it at). Personally, I think it takes more care
and skill to work within limits (thanks to Creep for backing me up
there). Last year we had an 18-man roster. Should we reduce the total
number?

16-18 fine with me.

TRADE DEADLINE: Was last year's too late? Where do we want to cut it
off? I assume we'll have a 14-week season with weeks 15 & 16 as our
playoffs. Do we want to cut trades off after week 10? 12?

Week 10 sounds good for me.

WOOD: Wood is not allowed to draft Vince Young.

MINIMUM HOLD FOR PICKUPS: Last year, if you picked someone off of
waivers or FA, you couldn't drop them for 4 days, or some such...to
keep assholes from picking up and immediately dropping someone just to
lock that player from anyone else. There is no setting in fleaflicker
for time. I can choose Yes or No to "Lock Recently Added" players.
Assuming we stick with Fleaflicker, do you vote yes or no.

Absolutely, Yes. If you want a bit of leeway, allow each team one mulligan at the Commish's discretion for those times someone *cough* picks up the wrong player :)

GLITCH WITH WAIVERS AND BYE TEAMS: It seems that last year, players
were locked for the weekend when they got to just before their game.
Players on bye weeks never locked for that weekend, so you could pick
them up during the normal "lock out" time. We should probably close
that loophole (if possible). Any objections?

FRACTIONAL POINTS: Do we want to use fractional points or whole points?
I don't care either way.

RETURN POINTS: Creep got his panties in a bunch because D/STs were
awarded points for return yardage. Do we discard this and just stick
with TDs?

Random ok for me. I always suck when drafting at the top.
