As a long-time UNIX guy who is now fully invested in the Windows world
one thing about Windows has always fascinated me: The fact that every
time I start-up my laptop a major change has taken place. It's always
very exciting. After being a work a couple of hours today I received
a few calls and IM's basically saying "Hey Tom, you said you'd send
that info to me still waiting!" But I did email it. First thing in
the morning. I sent about 20 emails today .wait my "Sent" messages
folder is empty for today. WTF? Oh .I guess now after every message
I send, and if I want to get any new mail I have to hit the "Send/
Receive" button. Cool!!!!! Now I can spend 20 minutes Googling how
to change back something I never changed in the first place. Never a
dull moment. Why would I want to work with UNIX where everything
always works the same way every day. BORING!!!!!! Viruses and
worms?????? AWESOME!!!!
This is a long-standing problem with Outlook that Mac Mail
shares: messages occasionally get stuck in the outbox. It's
been that way for at least a decade. My lovely wife insists
on continuing to use Outlook, but periodically screams at it
when a message she thought she sent didn't leave on time.
I've tried to persuade her to switch to Forte' Agent, but
she resists. (In the ten or fifteen years I've been using
Agent, no outbound message has ever become stuck.) - Tony
Has never happened on gmail either.
Hasn't happened on Thunderbird that I know of.
I've never had it happen to me using *Outlook*...

How can I tell you what it means to me?

I've finally found someone who believes in me,
And I'll never leave."
