In short, Fox News reports that the Saudi Prince who famously
offered a large donation in the wake of 9/11, which was turned
down by Mayor Rudy, is a supporter of "radical Ground Zero Mosque"
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.
Fox declines to indentify the Saudi Prince as Alwaleed bin Talal,
who happens to own 7% of News Corportation.
So I guess Fox just said that one of its largest owners is a
supporter of radical Islam...but don't exactly disclose the whole
ownership part.
What a complete joke of a "news" organization...BTW: Here is a joke of a "news" orgainzation that's actually related
to reporting:

I think the problem with this coverage is rather obvious, but in-Tom EnrightI don't see what's wrong with that. It is completely accurate.
questioning the coverage I probably place myself out of CNN's targeted
demographic. You, not seeing the obvious, are precisely the consumer
CNN is looking for.
I think CNN has decided that it doesn't really care to represent the bigots
and loons as Fox and MSNBC have those demographics nailed.
Nailed it in one. After going too far out on the liberal limb in years
past, CNN has smartly repositioned itself as a voice of reason between
the idots at Fox and MSNBC.
I was at a Fox News fan's home recently while Hannity was on, and I
heard him repeatedly refer to Obama as "the annointed one." Yeah, I
know that his is an opinion show, but whatever happened to respect for
the office, if nothing else? How would *he* have reacted if someone on
an opinion show at MSNBC had come right out and referred to Bush as
Chimpy on a regular basis?
I'll refrain from giving CNN vote of confidence just yet, but I will
say I've noticed it looking a lot more balanced as of late.
I'm in complete agreement with your point on respecting the office.
In fact, even though we just chat in here and all kinds of names get
thrown out there, I've tried to make sure I refer to President Obama
as President. The end of that respect as far as I can tell, actually
did start with Bush though. In interviews and regularly on the news
he was being referred to as "Mr. Bush", often to his face in the
interviews. It was somewhat subtle, but it was a clear dig at the
president by journalists all over the media.
To my dismay, Fox News almost exclusively refers to President Obama as
"Mr. Obama" or just "Obama" in a juvenile retaliation. I know it's
retaliation because I remember them complaining about other media
sources referring to President Bush as "Mr. Bush".
If Fox isn't careful, they'll lose a lot of viewers they recently
picked up (like me) back to CNN, especially if CNN continues in its
direction. Slanted is one thing, but their editorializing simply
isn't professional, and its highly annoying.
And, quite frankly, if Fox News wasn't the only source of getting a
different view (and it looks like it may not be anymore), I wouldn't
watch it.
