My dad has been gone since 1995, which seems like so long ago....but I
still miss having a daddy, still dream about him, etc. I felt exactly
the same way--even though I knew he was dying, it came too soon.
Thinking of you, hoping your hanging in there......
Reading thru all of these posts, there were some of you who lost your
parent/parents recently, and I didn't even know. Weird.
Peach
Mine passed in 1982, exactly one month after turning 40. He died of a
heart attack and I always believed I would die from one as well at
40yrs old. I knew it was all in my head but imagine my thoughts when I
had a mild heart attack in Oct 2008 at 40yrs old. I've been on pins
and needles because I turn 41 in 13 days and can't wait to escape my
'curse'.
