Here is Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan:

trade's massive tax increase on Michigan industry -- at the same time
claiming, against all the evidence, that it would not lead to an
increase in manufacturing costs or energy prices. "Global warming
creates volatility. I feel it when I'm flying. The storms are more
volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes."
If you are a liberal talk show, you have to pass stuff like this up.
And the Democrats are *constantly* saying stuff almost as ludicrous.
The conservative shows have all the material. Air America was doomed
from the start!
Just to be clear, are you really saying that wingnuts don't say
stupid stuff to make great material?
