hey, "J.C. Watts Enslin" <jonenslin@xxxxxxxxxxx>'s been through solid
matter, for crying out loud. Who knows what's happened to his brain?
Maybe it's scrambled his molecules...

GM's most disappionting division, well maybe GMC is but they are sold at
Pontiac dealers anyways.
Pontiac had more sales than Cadillac or Buick but they failed to live up
to
anything since the Tempest of the early 70's. Maybe the Firehawk of the
late 90's or 2000. Bonneville SSEI??
They never had an original car in the last 30 years. I suppose the G8 GXP
(Australian) but wouldn't you rather have a 300 Hemi C or an SRT8? Wait a
minute: the Aztek original.
Nowdays they are selling rebaged Mexican and Korean and Aussie cars with
an
Americanized Toyota suv thingy to boot.
they'll keep Pontiac but they'l kill Saturn, remember Oldsmobille the
division that is original gets it's head chopped off...
Nothing original about Oldsmobile in it's last 20 years. If I remember
correctly, and i didn't google this, Oldsmobile was selling the Alero, which
was the same as a 1st generation "new malibu", the Intrigue, which was the
same as a 1st generation "new impala" and the silouette which was a minivan
also offered by GMC, Chev and Pontiac. They also had the Bravada, offered
by Chev and GMC and Pontiac as the TrailBlazer and Jimmy. They had a
cadillac northstar Aurora.
The Alero was almost half of Oldsmobile's 2000 model year sales. Long gone
from the 442's and the Rocket 88's and the Cutlass supremes and the ever
classy Delta 98's and the Tornados.
When the 1990's rolled around Oldsmobile long died.
The problem with GM is that by the 80s there was no product
differentiation between the GM divisions. This is a move 20 years too
late...settle on Chevy, Saturn and Cadillac, and market the hell out
of them.
Jon
or kill the branding and just make GM....
