In other words, unless you're trying to say that the leadership of the
ACC didn't think very clearly when they chose Tampa,
well duh.
but it probably wouldn't matter. the ACC just doesn't have the fans to
support a neutral-site game, unless they luck out and the site happens
to be really near one of the two teams that year.
they should go the mac/c-usa route and give one team HFA. Base it on who
had the best conference record, or rotate it back and forth between the
divisions.
anything but these fiascoes.
Even better, if the game is a rematch, then cancel the game and
declare the regular season winner the conference champ. Seems odd
that year after year, BC is required to beat VT twice a year, while VT
only has to win once.
