Castigating someone for using Republican talking points by using
dimmercrap talking points makes you look much sillier.

If you support Obama, great. If you think he will be a great
president, good for you. If you think that McCain will give us 4 more
years of Bush, that's certainly a defensible position to take. But
please....just be honest about him.

You can call him smart.
You can call him dedicated.
You can call him "fresh" or "new" or whatever.

But you can't call him experienced.
But you can't call him bi-partisan.
But you can't call him a successful legislator.

How come you get to lie but we can't tell the truth?

Okay, I'm game. Where is my mistake?

He's more experienced than Bush was in 2000*.

No. Bush was running for an executive position, Obama has no
executive experience.

He has worked with Republicans to pass legislation for many years,
including many bills with bipartisan authorship.

No, nothing major.

And his record of introducing and passing bills is long and
impressive.**

You think this is long and impressive? Really? I don't. It's all
pretty run of the mill. Nothing at all major. Lots of resolutions
honoring important, and not-so, important Black Americans (the guy
certainly is obsessed with race), lots of padding in your list with
amendments.

Outside of that, you nailed it!

I could list the bills of any Senator. It is indeed a very average
list of achievements.

So, I stand by my comments. He is not "a successful legislator."
