Wouldn't that be a novel approach to the election?

The problem with that approach is that politicians will lie about
what they'll do. Take McCain for instance. He sees Obama making
headway with change, so he's promising change too, but the problem is
he voted with Bush 95% of the time. Fortunately, McCain has a Senate
voting record, so we can see he's just blowing wind to try to fool the
voters.
