Obama was much more engaging, but everyone knows he's a better
speaker.  And yeah, I know that being a good speaker doesn't make one
a good President.  It just isn't McCain's strength.

Yup. The big criticism with Obama is, while a great speaker of the
prepared word, he doesn't think very fast on his feet. He looked like
a deer caught in the proverbial headlights during the last DNC
"debate" against Hilary, when Stephanopoulos started with his tabloid-
like questions.
