is really painful. Just spent the weekend in the
hospital with an attack of it.

Ken
I've had it in 95. i quit drinking for a year then
because the internal medicine doctor said if I ever took
another drink, it would kill me. He lied, sorta.

I was in 10 days with 85 percent renal shutdown. If I
coulda got my hands on a gun, i would pushing daisy's
now. I will never forget the pain. They pumped over
5days 15 gallons of yeller stomach acid of tubes they
kept sticking down my nose, I would wait til they left
and yank them out and puke all over the place. I didn't
eat for 2 weeks, just sugar water and insulin pumped in
my stomach with a really small needle.

At least you weren't near death, cause you got to come
home pretty quick. Now you know the furry of fucking
*** diabetes causes and that's just one of the many
ways this *** will kill us. No wonder were always
depressed.....

Wanta go kill something?

Actually, this is my 2nd go around with this ***. Last
summer I was in ICU for 5 days and then had my gall
bladder out, then 3 more days to go home. Off work for
almost 8 weeks total. Puked a bunch last year and held
out for 3 days before I went to the hospital. This year,
I recognized the pain within a half-hour of onset and got
to the hospital. Doctor said that's why I was able to get
the enzymes down so quick. Off work until Sunday night.
Still, I was no where near as sick as you were. Guess I
got something to look forward to! I am familiar with
that yellow color, though. Nasty.

My doctor isn't so hung up on my very moderate drinking.
5 beers in June, no more than 1 per day doesn't trigger
it.

There've been many recent days that killing something has
seemed agreeable. Now that you got me thinking about it,
I did kill a woodchuck the day before I got sick.
Bastards are still trying to live under the floor of my
pole barn.

When I went in, I was at home recovering from what I
thought was a 5 week drunk. My wife was in OKC visiting
her mom, and TOISDAB never opened the door to my room for
3 days. I don't think I remember ever leaving the bed for
those three days. I couldn't pee, poop, eat, move,
nothing. When TSH got home, she called an ambulance. The
doc says my blood alcohl content was still super high,
which made me wonder if the body can actually ferment and
make booze???

Can you eat woodchucks?

My pancreas problems aren't alcohol related. I left the
heavy drinking thing behind me years ago. Plugged bile duct
did it last year and they think some poor diet choices this
tear are what did it.

I've had a few people tell me that they've eaten woodchuck,
but I've no desire to try it. They're an herbivore and
don't eat trash, I don't know why they wouldn't be OK to
eat.

Ken
