Your parents' cousins would be your first cousins one-removed (just in the
remote case you or anyone else actually cared).
Yeah, I know. My way is easier, though. If a relative is my parents'
generation, they are my aunt/uncle. If they are my generation, they
are my cousin. If they are the generation after me, they are my niece/
nephew. This is pretty standard usage in my family.
Yes, geneology twits (and, evidently, wingnuts) get bent out of shape
by this. I don't care.
My cousins' kids call me cuzuncle. Yes, it's official shtick.
