Well I've always called my great uncles "Uncle" since I learned how to
say the word.
And yet, you just called him your great uncle! I'll admit, I
called one great uncle "Uncle Harry" because that's what everyone
else called him, but whenever referring to his relationship to my
siblings and I, it was always "great uncle".
I called him my great uncle in this post to illustrate my relationship
to him...to his face I call him "Uncle Paul"....never once have I
called him "Great uncle Paul".
It's still beside the point....
No, it isn't. Presidents shouldn't be playing fast and loose with
the truth, you know like some of us zealots did when Bush et al.
stretched the truth to start a war in Iraq.
Anyone who would equate Obama referring to his great uncle simply as
"Uncle" and the lies that led to the invasion of Iraq is not worthy of
further discussion.
