I need the carrot of eternal life to keep my actions within the

Your dignity?

Without the carrot I would not care.

I would. =3DA0Cooperation is the essense of the human condition. =3DA0=

I don't agree. I believe most people prefer to have their way - they
cooperate when necessary. I prefer to compete.

We're
hardwired to cooperate and have a conscience built in to us to effect
it. =3DA0

I wonder where that conscience came from.

Sometimes like other defects you'll have your sociopaths that
have no concience and operate soley on pain and pleasure. =3DA0 An exa=

of conscience would be that I would feel guilty for doing something
wrong against someone even if there was 0% chance of getting caught..
To me if you need the threat of hell or absence of heaven as a
motivator then you're probably in some subset of sociopath.

Life is not a popularity contest. The need for approval appears to be
what you seek.

You're not getting it. =A0 Maybe you donut get it because you donut have
a conscience.

I have a conscience - the Bible tells me so.

I have a conscience.   I had it before I ever heard of the bible.

So you must have recorded the dates each event occurred???

I also know that I was hungry at an early age but I didn't record
those events either.
