At my workplace cafeteria today there was a booth set up by the office
of state treasurer RICHARD MOORE. It was part of his nccash.com
initiative to help people find lost property that the state has. They
had workers from the office of state treasurer RICHARD MOORE there
who type your name in and see if the state has any lost property for
you. This display was brought to you by the office of state treasurer
RICHARD MOORE and includes a life-size picture of state treasurer
RICHARD MOORE handing over a check for $3k to a smiling citizen. In
20 years of working here, this is the first time something this has
been set up anywhere that I've seen.
Did I mention that state treasurer RICHARD MOORE is running for
governor, and he's in a tough primary fight?
They had nada for me so he ain't gettin' my damb vote.
Congress gave itself the "Franking" privilege long ago, ostensibly to inform
their constituents, but in reality only to inform them why they should be re-
elected. Thank god they don't use ballot access measures to further entrench
their duopoly.
