background: About 16 months or so ago I hooked up with an ASU
nursing student(maybe 20/21 years old at the time) just after I
broke up with the exgf but before I started dating beth
seriously. A one night stand for the most part. She was cute
and everything, but conversation with her was mediocre at
best....there just wasn't anything about this girl that made me
think she had any qualities(besides being cute) that I would
want to date her for. Then a month or so after that when I was
free I call her or email her basically asking if she wants to
drop by to hook up again. She goes on this story about how she
likes me but is looking for more than just sex in a
relationship and blah blah blah.....I lost her there pretty
much. Then 4 or so months later(when I actually was dating
beth) she emails me about how she'd like to see me again. I was
a little ticked because:

1) my offer 4 months ago wasn't a "let's get together sometime"
type of thing. It was a "if you want to hook up TNITE come over
and we can...I'm free" type of message. You can't take a
raincheck on that kind of offer.
2) She had obviously decided that she was going to say no to a
no- strings attached hookup(which was fine w/ me, it's not like
there werent 20 girls just like her and just as forgetable) in
the hopes that I would break down and take her on a real date or
something eventually.......ummm no.
3) When she did contact me again 4 months later it wasn't even
clear that she was agreeing to the terms of my original
proposal(ie come over to my house and hook up).

So anyways I shot her an email telling her I was seeing someone
and that was that. But for whatever reason I'm on her mass
email list(you know that people send out stupid forwarded jokes
to and stuff), so she was still contacting me indirectly that
way every month or so.

Fast forward to the present- two days ago she emails me(not a
forwarded type of message) and tells me she graduated from ASU
with a BS in nursing and is working at university hospital as an
rn(as if I care?) and wants to know how I'm doing and
everything. I emailed yesterday a standard email about what I'm
up to and that was that. Then she emails me back today about how
exciting things seem for me(ummm....actually they're not) and
how we should get together tommorrow and 'catch up'(catch up on
what?)

So I'm actually wondering if this girl is *again* trying to get
a date/ start up something real with me.....if she is she's
beyond delusional. even if she wants to just come over and hook
up again(which is all I was even considering > 1 yr ago with
this girl), I'm not all that into it because she passed on it 16
months ago so what makes her want to agree to those terms now. I
have a feeling if she does come over and we hook up she's want
to go somewhere with me next time, or she'll act like that's
going to be her way to start a relationship with me. So I think
I'm going to have to pass on the offer....

Dude, at least *** her first. Duh.
