Oregon at UW - okay, last week, the Ducks avoided their usual post
loss hangover and won big. Do it again. Some things never change and

Belotti finally figured it out? Prove me wrong - come on, win this

Again, very hard to gauge this one. It's going to be a cold, rainy autumn
day on Saturday, and UDub fans hate, hate, hate UO. People say, oh, this
isn't a rivalry like Auburn-Alabama or tOSU-Michigan, but those are your
we hate each other one week a year and mock you the other 51 rivalries. UW
and UO fans would blow up each other's tailgates if you gave them the
plastique. I'm not kidding.

See, Oregon fans like me harbor a lot of hatred towards the Fuskies, and it
stems to a time when Washington was perennially ranked and the Ducks were
just bottom feeders. Oregon has had a lot of success against UW in recent
decades, but there's still that residual loathing. I doubt that Husky Fan
feels the same way, however. And that makes for a poor rivalry, IMO. It's
kind of like the Portland TrailBlazers against the L.A. Lakers. A Blazer fan
is born and raised to hate the Lakers, and with good reason, I might add.
But the Lakers just see the Blazers as a coat tail rider, a mosquito that
painfully bites occassionally and needs to be swatted to remind them of
their place in the pecking order of the world. I'm sure there are a ton of
other examples in college and pro sports where the hatred is definately
one-way or no-sold by one party.

That being said, I hope the final score is 99-0, Oregon.
