What a great season this has been - and so many more games to play!
Kanthath @ CU - Maybe Kanthath really is for real? Now you get to go
on the road v the rapidly improving Beefalos. Does destiny reside in
Lawrence? No way, man - but rawk chalk this week too.
Ha ha ha.
There's no way CU stays within 14 of Kansas. I'm not kidding, and I'm not antiweauxfing. I really think KU is going to be 11-0 going into KC against Mizzou. They haven't "played anyone," sure, but they've leveled everyone they have played, including a not-too-bad KSU team.
TAMU v UNL - dead men walking. Whatever. Maybe coach Fran and coach
$cam can exchange real estate tips or something.
So, honestly, weauxfing aside -- do you think Nebraska goes 0-5 the rest of the way? Because a lot of people are talking like they will, but I look at their schedule and how paper-thin the North is... I really think he can finish off 4-1, close with some strong wins, and muddle things for the NU faithful. I mean, 8-4 isn't that bad, especially if you're showing consistent improvement as the season goes on, and that 8-4 puts you in, say, the Cotton or Gator Bowl, which it may well do if the BCS takes Oklahoma and Mizzou/KU.
Texath Tech at Mizzou - Chase Daniels moved out of the Hypesman last
week and now it's Harrell/Crabtree's turn. Time for the annual Pinkel
meltdown as Tech wins a wild one.
This one is really hard to gauge, but I'm thinking a basketball score is very likely.
Oregon at UW - okay, last week, the Ducks avoided their usual post
loss hangover and won big. Do it again. Some things never change and
the Ducks imploding has been a surefire sign of November's approach.
Come on, prove me wrong - has Dixon really improved THAT much? Has
Belotti finally figured it out? Prove me wrong - come on, win this
and big.
Again, very hard to gauge this one. It's going to be a cold, rainy autumn day on Saturday, and UDub fans hate, hate, hate UO. People say, oh, this isn't a rivalry like Auburn-Alabama or tOSU-Michigan, but those are your we hate each other one week a year and mock you the other 51 rivalries. UW and UO fans would blow up each other's tailgates if you gave them the plastique. I'm not kidding.
Florida at UK - Hmmmm....the 'cats spit the bit v SoCarolina - but
came thru with a great game last week. The Gatorz O is better than
LSU's and their D ain't the worst.....seems almost like a worse
matchup for UK and of course, Tebow is God. Always go with God,
right? Then again, the home teams seem to hold serve, Auburn
notwithstanding......ah hell, I'll just watch this one and enjoy the
Hypesman duel.
I really hope Kentucky can pull it out. I'm liking the idea of KU playing KU in a bowl game.
Michigan at the AIWP - Clockwork. Favorable press - choke. Zook gets
love for finally figuring it out and then promptly loses a winnable
game. Press down on him and full of love for Meatchikken. Watch
Juice and McGee run a wild spread game on the dudes with funny helmets.
Aren't Zook teams notoriously bipolar? They will win and monkeywrench Michigan's Rose Bowl run. And then turn around and lose to Ball State next week.
