Denver at Indianapolis: Denver is getting ten points. Or if you like
the moneyline, it's +425(!)
I'm playing them both......taking the 10 with one bet and then with a
smaller bet(1/3 of the ats bet) taking them on the moneyline.
1) Denver has the best corner in the nfl in Bailey to match up with
one of harrison/wayne, and an above average corner in bly to match up
with the other.
2) Denver *will* be able to run the football.
3) Denver will be playing very hard not to start out 2-2.
I don't know if they'll win or not, but I am pretty sure they will get
within that number if they dont win.
So the way i've arranged it is if:
1) they lose but get within the number, I win(thats why the moneyline
bet is 1/3 the ats bet)
2) they win outright, I win very big(+425!)
3) they lose by more than 10, I lose both bets......
It's going to be #3.
Indy will beat Denver by at least 14.
Why?
1) Bailey will cover Wayne most of the game while Bly covers Harrison (maybe
vice-versa, but I'm leaning towards Bailey on Wayne). Bly will get a pick,
but will give up two big plays in trying to turn picks.
2) Denver will rush the ball well, but not as well as Indy will.
3) Denver barely beat the Bills, barely beat the Raiders (should have lost
if not for the lame timeout crap) and got beat pretty soundly by an average
Jacksonville team...at home.
I'm thinking 40-24.
