Briefly the tide nation got all giddy when they hired Saban and filled
Bryant-Denny for a fracking Spring game and then began the season 3-0
and started predicting an 8-0 start going into the LSU game with a
chance at a MNC this season and surely one by next year. The 2 or 3
smart tide fans realized that Saban was only human, that it would take
him a few recruiting seasons to assemble the monster team he will
eventually build in T-town.
Now they've lost two games they've pretty much written off the season
and are focused on "please God, let us beat Auburn this year, please
please please, if Tubby beats us another year our heads will
explode!!!" Of course, some tide fans will read this and rush to
reply that Auburn isn't that important, blah blah blah but of course
they are protesting too much, I saw the signs when Gameday was in T-
town for the UA-UGA game, there were some signs poking fun at Auburn
which means AUBURN IS IN THEIR HEADS AND THEY CAN'T STAND IT AND NOW
THAT THIS YEAR'S TIDE TEAM LOOKS ALL HUMAN THEY'RE GETTING SCARED!

Not that I am predicting an AU win in this year's Iron Bowl. No way.
Never underestimate Tubby's ability to lose a game he should win. For
every victory when Auburn is a big underdog (like against Florida last
night), he's sure to lose one he should have won (See Miss State this
year and possibly UA later this year). That's just part of
Tuberville's Law.
One of these days I'll write up the complete Tuberville's Law.
