Are you saying that people with athletic abilities can't perform in the
classroom? Or, are you saying the expectation of the top tier player
is of a free ride and catering in the classroom?
If you are saying the former, I'd say that you are mistaken, and people
tend to live up to your expectations. If you are saying the latter,
I'd say kick the bum out on the street and fire recruiter. There's
plenty of talent. They just have to sift through the trash.

When it seems like the world has taken everything from you, you just
might find that God was preparing you to begin giving.
I agree with you Dan! If that do not meet the standards they pay the
price.

I agree with me too. Thank you. After rereading my statements above,
it becomes clear that the onus lies on where we place, or rather, are
allowing ourselved to place our expectations. Are they on the schools
to meet the needs of the players, or are they on the players to meet
the needs of the schools. Certainly there is a degree of give and
take, but whenever the player begins to expect things be given to him
by virtue of an unrelated talent, there is a problem that needs to be
addressed directly and unequivically with that player.

I think I've figured out your "lack of women" problem.....STONP USING
THE WORD 'ONUS'
