That's not necessary, but a degree of modesty is. There would be a lot
to be said for a burka, i.e. it does cover the coochical area, but it's
not necessary. And, it's Muslim attire to boot.

I'm not so sure that I am. What is the wedding dress and vail symbolic of
in a traditional western wedding? I don't advocate vails for everyday
attire, but there is a lot to be said for chastity and modesty. The
slippery slope, in my opinion, was the advent of the skirt that makes a
girl think twice when she sits across from a man. Don't get me wrong, I'm
an unmarried man, but as an actual piece of clothing in one's wardrobe,
that skirt is, well, *way* past slippery slope and and at the end of the
toboggon ride, if you know what I mean.

Does it bother you even a little that nobody in this thread seems to agree
with you at all?
